Towards Mainstreaming QOL

On 19 April 2021, Prof. Yoshitsugu Hayashi (Chubu University) and others delivered oral presentations at the International Symposium on Mainstreaming Quality of Life in Evaluation of Transport and Spatial Planning. The three objectives of the symposium, which took the form of a webinar, co-hosted by Chubu University, the World Conference on Transport Research Society and the Asian Development Bank Institute, were to explore transport infrastructure quality of life evaluation and its impacts, assess country-level case studies and policy lessons for developing Asia, and discuss ways to improve quality of life through transport project development and spatial planning. Three presentations from the project, as below, were delivered to transport policy-related attendees and international experts.
