From 9 to 19 November 2021, the project was exhibited at the National Science and Technology Fair (NST Fair), organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). The NST Fair, which has been organized every year by MHESI to promote science in Thailand, is held in commemoration of His Majesty King Rama IV, who is honoured as the “Father of Science” in Thailand and His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, regarded as the “Father of Technology” and the “Father of Innovation” in Thailand. Showcased by the Embassy of Japan in Thailand, the project was displayed inside the Japan Pavilion. The project introduced the proposed smart transport strategy to visitors, particularly young students from schools.
At the opening ceremony on 10 November, Prime Minister (PM) Prayut attended and visited the Japan Pavilion. Prof Thanaruk Theeramunkong (Thammasat University), who is the project director, was in attendance for the PM’s visit and was photographed with him. Prof Thanaruk received a trophy from the Minister of MHESI to certify his participation.
